The requirement…
Speedmaster cars new storage facility houses classic, specialist and race cars. A CCTV system was required to not only keep an eye on the precious vehicles but also monitor the temperature of the facility in case of a vehicle fire or engine fire.
The solution…
Smart Ideas worked closely with Speedmaster to design a solution that would meet their requirements.
This included:
Internal high definition dual sensor thermal and optical IP cameras installed to view the vehicle storage facility.
The cameras have the ability to monitor the temperature within the facility and can highlight any hotspots within the field of view.
Should a high temperature be detected the system will trigger an alarm control panel which in turn notifies a 24/7 control room who can react to the situation.
